Birthdays: Elizabeth Andrews, Nicole Gerkens, Katrina Fett. Many and blessed years to you all! On Sunday, Nov. 12, we had our annual Thanksgiving Dinner and a first annual Homecoming Sunday.
A church is a House of God, and through Christ (at baptism) we have become children of God. So, every time we come to church, we come home. Homecoming Sunday is an outreach program designed for our parishioners to invite anyone they would like to experience the rich tradition of Orthodox Christian worship and the great hospitality of our parish. This year we had a few guests. Glory to God for all things!  Elizabeth Dubowchik (aka Aunt Betts), Nadezhda Petruccelli, Mária Chuba, and Helena Paranyuk (celebrating her name day).
 Newly-baptized Anya Teslja (in the arms of her godfather) was churched on Sunday and received her first Communion. Many and blessed years!  At the end of the Liturgy, Fr Aleksey spoke with our children about saints - who are they? What do they do? And, are we saints?
