Our mission is bringing the joy of Christ's resurrection to those who have never heard the Good News, and to strengthen and encourage the faithful who reside within greater Fort Smith area. The Orthodox Church humbly claims to be the One Church of Christ, founded on the apostolic witness to our Lord, born on the Day of Pentecost, and for 2,000 years making known to men, women, and children the path to salvation through repentance and faith in Christ. The Orthodox Church is not a denomination (for it predates Protestantism by 1,500 years) nor is it "the Eastern branch of the Roman Catholic Church." It is, quite simply, the Church of Christ.

The Orthodox Church is evangelical, but not Protestant. It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman. It isn't non-denominational, it is pre-denominational. It has believed, taught, preserved, defended and died for the Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost 2000 years ago.
