Welcome to the webpage of
Saint John the Baptist Orthodox Christian community

Orthodox Christianity is the fullness of the Faith, as was taught by and revealed in Jesus Christ, and "was once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 3). And as the Faith it does not lack anything.

The Orthodox Christian Church is the ancient Church, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who Himself is the chief Cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20), and enlivened by the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost.

We are a multi-ethnic Orthodox Christian community, and as such we strive to worship the Lord Jesus Christ "in spirit and truth" (John 4:24) and be the living examples of the Faith.

The best way to experience Orthodox Christianity is to
Come and see! (John 1:39, 46)

After a successful Garage Sale first time around, we still have a lot of items left for sale. Another day of Garage Sale will be on Saturday, August 20.

We need your help on the day of the sale, and with clean up afterwards. Whatever does not sell will need to be taken to Goodwill or bagged and thrown out. If you are able to volunteer even an hour or two on any of the days, it will be greatly appreciated.

This Garage Sale is in support of our Church School. The funds are used for various classroom materials, and different outings we do for the kids throughout the year. By helping with the Garage Sale, you are helping our parish bring up the future generation of Christians today.

10% of all proceeds from the Garage Sale will be donated to the IOCC to help the Ukrainian refugees who have been displaced because of the Russian invasion into Ukraine.
