Today people don't have to be on drugs to utterly destroy themselves. All we need today is internet connection. Internet gives us access to one of the most dangerous plagues in human history - pornography.
We can't prevent ourselves and, most importantly, our kids from all kinds of evil that this world has to offer, but we have to educate ourselves, in order to avoid the most obvious threats to our well-being. On Tuesday, Oct. 18, we served the Akathist to St James, the brother of the Lord, before his relics, which are visiting our parish for a few weeks.
The service was very prayerful and the fellowship afterwards lively. Join us for the Supplicatory Moleben service on Sunday, Oct. 23, after the Liturgy. We will have them for a few weeks, during which they will be available for veneration, and we'll serve an Akathist and Moleben to St James.
